Sarah’s Flowers Ltd

Providing gorgeous, affordable decorations to the modern, savvy bride, Sarah's Flowers have been a phenomenon in the wedding industry since their launch just over six years ago.

The idea is simple - the core of the business is beautiful artificial floral arrangements, from bouquets to tablecentres. Simple yet oh so effective, giving the average bride the chance to have stunning, trend-led flowers without spending a fortune.
Even better, the flowers are yours to keep forever, a beautiful moment of that most special day.

Jason and Sarah are the brains behind the business and the idea for Sarah's Flowers came out of the happiest day of their life - their wedding day.

“Sarah's a trained florist,” Jason explains. “She did the flowers for our wedding, They were so beautiful, we thought it would be nice to make some copies of our wedding flowers to keep using artificial flowers.
“The result was stunning and it seemed logical to make some extra to sell.

“That was in 2004. I made a simple website, signed up to Paypal and the rest is history!”

But savvy Jason hasn't just relied on his wife's talents to grow the business in recent years. They've also branched out to selling more than just flowers - everything from table scatters to favours to pew ends and gifts are available online, helping brides co-ordinate their big day look - and buy all their decoration essentials in one place!

As the business grew, so did the website.
“In 2006, the traffic we were getting warranted the need to get a more professional website built. We added a search facility, extra pictures, option to browse via colour choice and a fully secure payment gateway via Sage pay along side Paypal.”

As satisfied brides started telling their friends, so the business grew and Jason and Sarah make sure their customer's needs are at the forefront of their mind when they are selecting stock.

“We follow the latest wedding trends but the main source is from feedback and requests we get from our customers,” says Jason.

“In terms of wedding flowers, the round hand-tied posy in either bridal or bridesmaids size is by far the most popular choice.  Accessories such as confetti, party poppers and cannons are all very popular as well.”

The wedding industry and press soon sat up and took notice and you will now find Sarah's Flowers products (and those from their new website www.partyoptions.co.uk  gracing the pages of national magazines and newspapers. Perfect Wedding and Wedding Ideas are huge fans, and you'll find plenty of recommendations from real life  brides on their popular forums at perfectweddingmag.com and weddingideasmagazine.com.

“Winning the Wedding Ideas award for "Best Special Touches" in 2009 was our proudest moment because it is voted for by the people that matter - our customers.

“We have also just found out that we have made the final three for this years Wedding Ideas award for 'Best Florist' and we’ve been used on the Wedding Ideas cover four times in the last year alone.“

As the accolades and awards grow, so does the business and Jason and Sarah are not sitting on their laurels - there are big plans for 2010.

“We are adding new ways to view our products online including fantastic 360 degree pictures and video files.

“We provided wedding flowers for around 8000 weddings last year so we truly are specialists - it's an exciting time for the company and we can't wait to see what the new year has to bring.”

"We are also very proud of our testimonial page as we get some wonderful comments from our customers and some lovely pictures as well, i put the date we receive the testimonial on every one so people can see they are up to date"
